Ro Ho Fro (b. 1996, London, ENG) is a Welsh artist living and working in London. While painting and the languages it creates are the root of Ro Ho Fro’s practice, she is also a filmmaker and sees her work through the lens of theatrical production. She combines ideas around the natural and the theatrical as a way to translate a synonymity between chaos and order. The costumes, props, and backdrops she makes for her film productions often make their way into her paintings. Ro Ho Fro has an MFA from Glasgow School of Art (2025) and a BA from Camberwell College of Arts (2018). Her work has been exhibited widely, most recently in a solo exhibition at Berntson Bhattacharjee and as part of a collaborative project shown at Airside Hong Kong, supported by the British Council HK, Videotage HK and Film London.
