Mark Haddon (b. 1964, Peebles, SCO) is an artist based in the Scottish Borders. Working across drawing, sculpture, painting and installation, he makes, materially attentive works from found objects, paper, wood and other materials. His practice brings together fragments, traces and evidence to create works that are at once poetic, playful and unsettling.
Alongside his studio practice, Mark Haddon is the founder and curator of No31 Gallery, an independent contemporary art gallery in Duns, where he presents a programme of exhibitions by emerging and established artists.
